While I was not impressed to find a tear in the material ear cup on my Beats Solo Pro headphones, I am blown away at the speed with which Apple handled the repair process.

TL;DR: Logistics is nuts!

Tear discovered.

I contacted Apple support & told them about the tear I’d discovered to set up a repair. In Canada, Beats headphones needing repair can’t be repaired or swapped out in-store, so the product would need to be sent off for replacement.

With my call to Apple support finished, I received an email with [support information] about how to package the headphones to send back to Apple.

12:31

I received an email confirming my repair & a link to track its status.

The headphones depart Calgary to be sent whatever part of the world it is that they go for repairs.
