Today Apple released new summer colours for the iPhone 11, & 11 Pro/Pro Max silicone case & Apple Watch Sport Band. The four new bands are: Vitamin C, Seafoam, Linen Blue, and Coastal Grey. As Apple has released dozens of colours over the years, I wanted to compare how these new hues compare to some bands from the past.

From Left to Right: Papaya, Vitamin C, Spicy Orange.

The new Vitamin C color almost resembles a cross between Papaya (released in Spring, 2019) and Spicy Orange (released in Fall, 2017).

From Left to Right: Mist Blue, Seafoam, Beryl.

The new Seafoam color resembles a cross between Mist Blue (released in Summer, 2017), & Beryl (released Winter 2019).

From Left to Right: Delft Blue, Linen Blue, Alaskan Blue.

I’m honestly having the hardest time differentiating between the million different hues of blue Apple uses in their product. As near as I can make out, the new Linen Blue colour resembles a cross between Apple’s Delft Blue (released Spring, 2019), and Alaskan Blue (released Fall, 2019).

From Left to Right: Light Grey (Titanium Apple Watch exclusive), Coastal Grey, Dark Grey (Space Black Titanium Apple Watch Exclusive.

Coastal Grey’s color appears to straddle the middle between the Light Grey Sport Band & the Dark Grey Sport Band, both of which were exclusive to the Titanium Apple Watch Edition (both of which were released in Fall, 2019).

Bands and silicone cases are available now, and cost whatever the Silicone Cases and Sport Bands have always cost: $39 for the cases & $49 for the bands (in USD).
